Background Info
When it comes to the words, we also fight and argue, but we both want words that will help to point people towards the God who we have experienced in so many ways. We both love the Bible, and we both long to see people discover the real depth of God's passionate love and so to discover ways that we can experience Jesus' desire for us: that we live life in all it's fullness.

So of course we want to encourage people to worship, and explore truth with all their heart, soul, mind and strength.
We both have a bit of history in the far east, with Naomi in Campbodia and Stephen in Taiwan, we have also both been writing songs and hymns for many years.

In time, we hope to add some of these oldies to the site...
​
But if you are writing new hymns.... we'd love to hear them.
Background Info
We are Naomi Sharp and Stephen Newell, we worked together as part of a Chruches Together Partnership in Fromeside. (In South Gloucestershire, just outside Bristol)
We were asked, or volunteered to write a hymn to celebrate the renewal of our Ecumenical partnership.... and

a new Hymn was born. It even won a competition!

By this time, Stephen and Naomi were friends, and we have started to write together. We are very different, in temperament, and indeed in background,...

Naomi, is a proper musician having studied music and mastered piano and French Horn. She has taught music and KNOWS the rules.
Stephen basically gave up on 'proper' music many years ago, but loves to experiment on guitar and even keyboard at a push. He doesn't know the rules, or at very least nowhere near as many as Naomi! But if it sounds right, he'll fight for it... and eventually we can find a rule that works.
